Southern Seals Swim School offers a ā€˜Make-up Lesson’ policy for students who are unable to attend a swim lesson.Ā
Students can use 3 make-up lessons a Term due to illness/injury or school commitments.

To receive a make-up lesson credit, the student must be marked absent from the class they are going to miss at least 2 hours prior to the start of this class.Ā

This must be advised via our email info@southernseals.au

Make-up lessons are non-transferable and can only be used by the student enrolled.

Make-up lessons will be available when or where there is availability during the Term or during the School Holiday Program following that Term.Ā  Failure to attend the make-up lesson will forfeit the lesson.

Lessons cancelled due to Pool Closure or Staff Illness will be added to the student as an available make-up lesson during the School Holiday Program.Ā  If unable to attend a School Holiday Program, credits may be applied to the next term’s enrolment at the discretion of Troy Williams and by email request

We offer swimming lessons for all ages, from infants to adults, ensuring everyone can learn.

Classes are available six days a week, accommodating various schedules for our students.

We maintain a maximum of four students in beginner classes for personalized attention.

Yes, our 25-meter indoor pool is heated up to 30 degrees, providing a comfortable learning environment year-round.

We LOVE goggles, they just get the children over the hump and used to putting their face in the water. Also, the children that are swimming more can get sore eyes, the water quality is excellent, it’s just that the water washes away the natural lubricant on their eyes and they get irritated.

But we are practical. When working on the children’s safety and recovery we do sessions with no goggles so they experience real world situations.

Please come to lessons with goggles. We do have goggles available for purchase from ones that suit small children through to competition.

Yes we do! We operate 12 months of the year with some small exclusions. Contact us to find out more.

You will need your swimmers, towel, and a change of clothes for after the lesson. Infants are required to wear swim nappies beneath their swimmers and parents or carers in the pool are asked to wear a T-shirt over swimmers. Children are encouraged to bring a swim cap and goggles and squad swimmers are recommended to bring a water bottle.

Yes we have 6 levels in our swim school to help cater to each person and their current level of ability, allowing for the correct information to be taught guiding them to progress as fast as possible with the most amount of care and attention possible

Absolutely! We are fully qualified with Austswim and Royal Life Saving Society
